''All My Life I Prayed For Someone Like You And I Thank God That I..That I Finally Found You!"

It's only fitting that the title of this post is lyrics to the song that was our wedding song. KC and Jojo's All My Life :-D
While Sam and I have many ''songs" we both like and think bests fits/ relates to our relationship, choosing our wedding song was quite difficult but this was always at the top because every line speaks to us and the chorus is so beautiful..

Our wedding took place in Shropshire, England on the 20th of May, 2011. It was an enchanting fairytale type of day!

I woke up nice and early, showered, and then waited for Kim to come to do my hair, my bridesmaids, and my mom's. After she did my hair, my photographer Claire arrived and snapped some pics of us all getting ready..I then did my makeup and my bridesmaid's and then it was time to slip into my dress.

Me getting ready for the biggest day of my life.

After I was dressed I put on my jewellery and then Emma dropped off all the flowers. At this point my hungover brother was running about trying to get ready quickly which made the nerves kick in!
The lovely flowers pictured next to my wedding shoes.

After everything was set and ready to go I took one last glimpse in the mirror before leaving to tie the knot!
I think I'm ready!!
Little did I know, over at the ceremony room our guests were all arriving and our photographer left before I did to snap some shots of the Groom waiting for me!
Sorry Sam, no turning back!!

The ceremony was lovely, our officiant was so funny and nice. I'll never forget when he first asked Sam to take me as his wife, Sam IMMEDIATELY said I DO! But the officiant wasn't even finished saying all that he had to say before Sam is allowed to say I DO..It made Sam blush, and our friends and family burst into laughs! (Ladies, if your man is so eager to say I DO at the altar , he's a keeper!!) Luckily for me he made that goof first because I knew to wait until he was done speaking to say my part.
I have arrived!

And this was our wonderful day, which we will cherish forever and forever.

Next post I will write about our romantic honeymoon getaway. We actually don't really consider it a honeymoon, but it was our first trip away together after our wedding. We can't afford a honeymoon so it was the next best thing, we do plan to go away abroad in the future and celebrate it as our honeymoon.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the photos I have shared!

No turning back now ...

Sorry for the delay in posting. My husband is currently making a gaming website and since we only have one laptop he spends all of his free time on it hogging it from me.

So as I previously mentioned my fiance visa was granted in February 2011..Within days of receiving it I booked a plane ticket to move to England for the 14th of March 2011. My mom was freaking out because she wanted to throw me a bridal shower before I moved. She got super busy planning it and it happened on the weekend before I moved! It was a bridal shower/ going away party. It was a blast and I am so thankful for all of my family and friends who showed up. The presents were so wonderful and thoughtful,  I truly appreciated it. It was all special thanks to my mom and dad, they threw a fantastic party that I will always cherish. <3

The 14th of March came around quickly and it was a busy day before my 7pm flight from NJ to the UK. I really can't describe what was floating around my head, but I will try. I was super excited because I had not seen Sam in like 7/ 8 months which was too long to me. I was excited to move to a new place. I was happy thinking of what our wedding was going to be like. I was anxious to see all my friends here in England. I was nervous to fly because flying alone is quite nerve wracking, maybe not for some but for me it is! I was upset because I was leaving behind 21 years of life in America. I was sad to say goodbye because goodbyes suck! I felt bad for my family because they love me and loved seeing me every single day and now they are only going to see me every few months. It was hard to let go of everything but I kept telling myself it would all be okay because it will be. In time things will feel better, it will feel like home for me here and NJ is only a 6 and a half hour plane ride away. I might as well have been moving to Cali. So yeah that is basically how I felt the day I moved.
I don't have much else to say. Nothing new is going on in my life at the moment, except I got glasses! I was a little iffy about it at first, I needed glasses as a kid but hated them. I am glad I got them now though. Well, check out my blog as I'll be soon posting about what it was like when I moved over here in March, details of my non-royal wedding, and my hectic job searching that never seems to end :(
Here are some photos from the bridal shower/ going away party, enjoy!
